The work platforms consist of movable frames made of Aluminium profiles, which will be fixed by scaffolding-spindles at the working position.
Concerning the basic frame there are 2 executions. After we had designed first a completely closed framework with upper connecting cross beam, by the user the desire for an „open “building method was expressed, which entailed an u-shaped construction as result. Here a roll-led chassis drives up and down at each pole. Between these chassis the actual work platform is hung-up flexible.
At the frame the chassis are fixed with two steel cables.
The vertical moving is realised by 2 Tractel cable winches
The winches are controlled by a central control unit in the middle of the platform, which includes an automatically balance in case of a leaning position.
The platform can be driven vertical in a range of +0,8m until +4m.
At the end of stroke the winches will be stopped by limit switches.
Blocstop – gripping devices prevent the platform from plunging down in case of rupture of the cables.
The connection for power supply is 400V, 50Hz, 16 or 32A.
A spiral suspension cable compensates the lift height.
By a fixed ladder the platform can be entered at anytime.
For that purpose the platform is fitted with a double-wing door which closes spring loaded automatically.
A balustrade is installed only at the back-side of the platform.
At the work-side in this case no balustrade is mounted.
The walking surface is provided with a foot-sure rubber.
These Lifting - Work Platforms can be adapted at the individual requests of the clients and are EC – proved.
